Select the cell for which you want to calculate the average value.
AVERAGE function is entered
Press Alt + M + U + A brings up the AVERAGE function, which automatically selects data in cells in the same column. This is the same for rows; the AVERAGE function will appear and data in the same row will be automatically selected. The data range can also be changed manually.
Completion of the calculation of the average
Press Enter reflects the average value of the selected data.
