Insert shortcut in Excel
Excel provides a variety of shortcuts for insertion. rows, cut cells, comments, pivot tables, etc. can also be inserted using shortcut keys. There is also a shortcut to display the Insert Function dialog box, which I will introduce here. When you insert a function using the Insert Function dialog box, you can operate it while checking the arguments.

Use the shortcut keys to display the Insert Function dialog box and insert a function.

Select a cell

Select the cell in which you want to enter the function. Press Shift + F3.
The Insert Function dialog box will appear

The Insert Function dialog box will appear. Enter the name of the function you want to search (ex COUNTA). Press Enter.
Function is found

The function was searched. Use ↓ (Down Arrow key) to select the function, and press Enter.
Set the argument

The Function Arguments dialog box will appear. Enter the argument (ex A2:A5). Press Enter.
The function has been inserted

The function has been inserted and the calculation has been done.
Display the Insert Function dialog box on Mac

Select the cell in which you want to enter the function.
Press shift + F3.

The Formula Builder will appear on the right side of the screen.
Enter the name of the function you want to search for (ex COUNTA) and press Enter.
Click to select the function you want to enter in the cell.

Enter the argument (ex A2:A5) and press Enter.

The function has been inserted and the calculation has been done.
