Select the cells you want to merge

Use Shift + → (Right Arrow key) to select the cells to be merged.

Press Alt + H + M + M to merge cells.
Merge cells horizontally with access key
Merge cells horizontally using the access key. In this case, we will merge cells B1 to C6 horizontally.

Use Shift + → (Right Arrow key) and ↓ (Down Arrow key) to select the cells to be merged.
