Duplicate data values in Excel can lead to big mistakes in your work, and finding and removing duplicate data is very important to work in Excel without problems. Select a cell from a range of cells that contain duplicate data. Press Alt + A + M.

Specify the column to delete duplicate data

The Remove Duplicates dialog box appears. Place a check mark in the My data has headers checkbox. Place a check mark in the columns (ex State) with duplicates and remove the check mark from the columns without duplicates. Press Enter.
