Shortcut to highlight in Excel

Highlighting cells in Excel allows you to pick out only the important items from a large amount of data. There are several shortcuts for highlighting, but many people may not be able to use the shortcuts and use the mouse. Learn some highlighting shortcuts in this article to work more efficiently.

Select a cell

Select the cell you wish to highlight.

Select Orange

Press Alt + H + H. Use the (Down Arrow key) and (Right Arrow key) to select Orange.

Press Enter. The active cell is highlighted.

Press (Down Arrow key) several times to select the cell you also want to turn orange.

Repeat the same operation

Repeat the same operation

Press F4 to repeat the highlighting operation and change the cell color.
