Shortcut keys in Excel sheet
Using shortcut keys, you can create new sheets and delete sheets without using the mouse. You can also select an entire sheet or switch between sheets smoothly. You can also use the access key to change the color of the sheet tabs. We will also show you how to use the access key to display the Move or Copy dialog box and the Protect Sheet dialog box.
Shortcut keys for sheets
Select the current and previous/next sheet
Ctrl + Shift + PgUp or Ctrl + Shift + PgDn
shift + option + ← or shift + option + →
Move and copy sheets
Access Key: Alt + E + M or Alt + H + O + M
Sheet tab color change
Access Key: Alt + H + O + T
Access Key: Alt + R + P + S
Select the current sheet and the adjacent sheet
Here is a shortcut key to select the current sheet and adjacent sheets consecutively.

Select the sheet
Select the first sheet you want to select.
Continuous selection of sheets is complete
Press Ctrl + Shift + PgDn, you can select the next sheet in succession. If you want to select the current sheet and the previous sheet, press Ctrl + Shift + PgUp.
Use shortcut keys to move or copy sheets
This time, we will use the shortcut keys to display the Move or Copy dialog box and move the sheet to the end of the sheet.
Select the sheet you want to move and press Alt + E + M.
The Move or Copy dialog box will open.
Use ↓ (Down Arrow key) to select the (move to end) and press Enter.
This completes the move operations for the sheet.
Change the tab color
Select a sheet for which you want to change the tab color.
Press Alt + H + O + T to display the Tab Color.
Use the arrow keys to select the desired color and press Enter.
The tab color has been changed.
Use shortcut keys to protect the sheet
Select the sheet you want to protect and press Alt + R + P + S.
The Protect Sheet dialog box will appear.
Enter the password you want to set for the sheet and press Enter.
The Confirm Password dialog box will appear.
Enter the password you set again, and press Enter.
The sheet is now protected.
