Show formulas in Excel shortcut
Normally, when you create a formula in Excel, it displays the result of the formula. However, it is also possible to display the formula instead of the result. For example, it is very convenient to display the formula when you want to check what kind of formula you have used, or when you want to check if there is any flaw in the formula. We will show you how to use the shortcut keys to display formulas.
Shortcut to show formulas
With numeric keypad: Ctrl+ Shift + ` (grave accent) or Ctrl + Shift + @
Without numeric keypad: Ctrl+ Shift + ` (grave accent)

Select a cell with a formula
Select the cell in which you entered the formula.
The formula appears
Press Ctrl + Shift + ` (grave accent) to display the formula. Note that the cell width will change according to the formula. If you press Ctrl + Shift + @ on a keyboard with a numeric keypad, the cell width will not change and only the formula will be displayed.
Hide a formula
Press Ctrl + Shift + ` (grave accent) again to hide the formula and only show the value.
